Melle Amade was made in Japan but born in California. She spent her early years raising animals and reading fantasy books on a farm in Northern California before setting off on her own as a teenager to explore the world. She started off in London and ended up in Sydney, Australia. After writing numerous plays, operas, and short stories (some performed at the Sydney Opera House), she returned to California and turned her attention to screenplays. This uncovered her true passion: Young Adult Fiction. She is currently writing Hidden, a Vikings of Islandia Saga and developing her social skills as a blogger. Melle lives with her husband, their son and daughter in Los Angeles, California.
